Fee Schedule
At Muñoz Dispute Resolution, Inc., we provide a variety of alternative dispute resolution and expert services. The cost depends on the service requested and can be based on an hourly, half-day or full-day basis. The fee schedule for the services provided are set forth below:
Mediation
Half Day: $2,500. This includes 4 hours of mediation plus preparation and a pre-mediation conference call with counsel. Any time after the 4 hours of mediation will be billed at the regular hourly rate of $500/hour. In multi-party cases (where there are more than one plaintiff and/or defendant represented by different counsel), the half-day fee is $3,000.
Full Day: $5,000. This includes 8 hours of mediation plus preparation and a pre-mediation conference call with counsel. Any time after the 8 hours of mediation will be billed at the regular hourly rate of $500/hour. In multi-party cases (where there are more than one plaintiff and/or defendant represented by different counsel), the full-day fee is $6,000.
Travel: Although we can often come to you at no additional cost to the parties, please contact us to discuss your particular location and any costs that may be associated with travel.
Arbitration
Hourly rate: $500
Preparation time, case management conference calls, law and motion, and any other matter involving the arbitrator other than actual hearing dates will be billed at the hourly rate of $500. Once the arbitration hearing dates have been confirmed, payment in full is due no less than 30 days before the scheduled first day of the hearing.
Arbitration hearing days:
Half Day: $2,500
Full Day: $5,000
In multi-party cases (where there are more than one plaintiff and/or defendant represented by different counsel), the half-day fee is $3,000 and the full-day fee is $6,000.
Discovery Referee
Discovery referee services are billed at a straight hourly rate of $500.
Legal Ethics Expert
Expert witness services are billed at a straight hourly rate of $500.
Cancellation Policy
Parties may cancel up to 14 days prior to a scheduled mediation date or the first day of a scheduled arbitration hearings for a full refund. Cancellations less than 14 days before a scheduled mediation or the first day of scheduled arbitration hearings may result in forfeiture of the full fee if another arbitration or mediation cannot be booked to fill the date(s).
